All of our Hoop Barns Are Clear Span Buildings
We talk a lot about clear span buildings here but maybe we haven’t explained what we mean by that.
Clear span means no supports of any kind in the middle of a building from one end to the other. Without interior columns or load-bearing walls, these structures provide 100% usable, flexible floor space, allowing for easy placement of large equipment, machinery, or inventory.
Our Rushmore hoop buildings reach from 24′ to 140′ in clear span width.
Advantages of Rushmore Clear Span Buildings:
- Cost-Effectiveness: Hoop structures are more economical due to fewer materials needed during construction and simplified, faster assembly.
- Green Buildings: For the same reasons fabric buildings are cheaper, they are also more eco-friendly.
- Durability and Strength: Constructed with high-quality galvanized steel, our buildings are built in South Dakota and engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions offering a long lifespan.
- Fast Construction Timelines: Pre-engineered components are manufactured off-site and designed for quick assembly, reducing project hours and labor costs.
- Versatility and Customization: Rushmore buildings can be customized for specific needs from agricultural equipment and arenas to industrial such as warehouses, salt and sand commodities, or manufacturing facilities. Our clear span buildings can be easily modified for future requirements or even disassembled for moving.
- Reduced Maintenance: Rushmore buildings require minimal maintenance. A quick check of the tensioning ratchets a couple of times per year will typically take care of it.
- Energy Efficiency: We offer light transmissable fabrics for superior natural light reducing energy costs. The curved shape of a hoop building further aids ventilation and may reduce those costs as well.
Not everyone needs a space big and open but, if you do, a hoop barn may be the perfect clear span building for you.
