blue and white hoop building on a ponywall

24′ Wide Single Tube Hoop Building

24 foot wide fabric building with a brown and white striped cover

This is the smallest fabric shed we carry and makes an excellent portable livestock shed or temporary building for storage.

We do not often recommend this building as it is not our best buy. The per square foot price is better if you have room for a 30 foot wide shed. If you only have room for this building however, then it will work out great for you. It is a heavy duty utility quonset type half round building made in the USA.

And that was a mouthful but we really mean to stress what a difference there is between this building and the light weight junk you can now buy all over the Internet.

If you’re looking for just a small, temporary backyard shed, this website’s not for you. No offense intended. You need what you need and fabric buildings can be very versatile from very tiny tent-like to stadium size fabric tension structures.

Our Rushmore hoop building sizes range from this 24 foot wide heavy duty shed up to 140′ wide. We’ve time tested these fabric buildings and they are worth the investment.

We’re always on the lookout for quality made smaller fabric sheds than we have right now. You’ll know when we do.

Hoop Building Specifications

Some of the Available Options include:
  • Available almost any length you want
  • Wind upgrade kit with ratchets rather than D-ring lacing
  • Ratchet and mounting plate upgrades
  • Fabric roll-up or zippered doors

The term “monotube” means that the rafters are a round heavy gauge single pipe. In the 24′ wide building these rafters are spaced 6′ apart and connected with 3 rows of purlins. The minimum length available is 24′ but the maximum length is any increment of 6′ you desire. These rafters can also be spaced closer for special circumstances, just ask.

This model is a “ponywall” building. It is designed to be erected on posts or a concrete wall. A 4′ high ponywall is the industry standard. If you put your building on a 4′ wall, the overall peak height would then be 13’1″. Wall height is flexible but please let us know your plans so that we can advise you with the correct mounting brackets. Your ponywall must be at least 24″ tall to properly tension the cover.

There are many more options available than we have been able to list here. The best way to get the building that meets your specific needs is to give us a call, 1-888-497-1088.
