We are now offering Rush-co Livestock Shades for sale. We’ve seen these used locally as both shade for cows and portable shade for sheep. We were impressed with their quality and ease of use.
Still, it wasn’t until one of us actually read the studies in the company literature and others and realized just how important shade is to the economy of the livestock industry that we woke up. We already had an economical and fast solution to the livestock shade problem with our current supplier. We missed sharing earlier, but we’re ready to do that.
Permanent livestock shades are an economical answer to providing shade for your animals’ health and comfort. These shade shelters are built from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel and have a vinyl and mesh cover. These shades hold up in our tough Northern Plains winters!
These livestock shades are designed to withstand Midwestern storms, ensuring your investment remains secure through heavy weather. They are built to hold up in livestock conditions with heavy galvanized steel frames. Any of our shades come to you disassembled for easy shipping but are quick and simple to put together.
They come in two sizes, both designed for easy relocation. The livestock shade’s tall height not only provides ample space but also allows for straightforward machinery access during setup or repositioning, making it convenient to adapt to your farm’s needs.
Whether you have a large herd or a small bunch of emus, we can help you with a shade or two to fit your operation, providing tailored solutions for your specific needs.
With the supplied water tank serving as the livestock shade base, the water can be drained, making the entire system easily movable without disassembly.
Two base weight options (water tank can be included or omitted – if omitted, user weight must meet weight and height requirements).
With this portable shade, you still have the easy open-and-close system and the height to get machinery up close and personal.
We’re seeing more of these livestock shades in use and for good reason. Shade is far more important for livestock health and economic gain than we realized. These are a high quality, durable livestock shade that we’re proud to offer.
