The 140′ wide fabric barn is a welded truss engineered tent building.
It is a fabric tension building with a steel frame. Very wide buildings are much easier and more economical to build with steel than lumber. If you top off that steel frame with a canvas fabric cover, you have the most economical wide building in the world. If your intended use is as an aircraft hangar, distribution center, warehouse, riding arena – or any other use where you need lots of floor space without support columns in your way, these are your buildings.
This is a very versatile building with side walls for additional height which allows you to have doors on every side. There are many ventilation and other options for this fabric barn, just as there are with all of our hoop structures.

Our Rushmore 140 foot wide clear-span fabric building can be constructed to meet or exceed IBC Engineering code requirements for a 90 mile-per-hour wind load and a 50 pound per square foot snow load. It is available with truss spacing at 10, 12 or 14 feet.
